Who was Mumtaz Mahal?
Mumtaz Mahal (September 1, 1593 — June 17, 1631) was a beautiful princess born into a Persian family in Agra. She married Shah Jahan at the age of 19. She was Shah Jahan’s favorite wife.

1: Among the seven wives Mumtaz was Shah Jahan’s fourth wife.

2: Shah Jahan and Mumtaz had fourteen children. Mumtaz Mahal died in 1631 at the age of 37, at the birth of her fourteenth child, Gauhara Begum.

3: After her death, he married her sister and built the great Taj Mahal as a symbol of his love for her.
